I am new to accepting photo challenges, and I discovered that I enjoy them. They aren’t really challenges. I am not competing with anyone else’s photo. It is more like Photo Prescription. Someone writes a prescription for the type of photo they want, and you fill the prescription from your pharmacy of in-stock photos. That way photos that maybe you never get to show, voilá, it fits the challenge.
I enjoy these because different people see the challenge from different perspectives. I saw “mine” as something that belonged to me. Someone else took a picture of lovers hugging in a public place, indicating to the world that they were “mine” to each other. So I am broadening my mind as I fill the prescription.
You can see there are several types of challenges. One of the only requirements is to link back to the originator. Sometimes you are asked to link forward. I learned that if you put the address of their post into the url on their icon, rather than the automatic place it saves in you media file, then you direct people back to the originator. Thanks Jakesprinter for teaching me that!!!

I love your photos. We one with the fog is fantastic but we need a spring photo. My internet is so slow and I am impatient. I will give you an old fashion telephone call. Thanks Sally
